What's tested?

  1. No pre-registration
You don't need to have a password/PIN before registering a Unipass.
  2. No re-keying
You don't need to rekey any data that's in your Unipass.
  3. No paper
You don't need to print, sign or post any paperwork.
  4. No need to re-register the same identity (e.g. when certificates renew)
You don't need to go through the hassle of registering again when you get a new or replacement Unipass (unless you change firm).
  5. No account suspension for not using passwords
You can still log in with Unipass, even if your password is suspended.
  6. Quick access to client data
Once you've registered you'll get immediate access to new business and quotations.
Furthermore, you'll get access to your clients' data within 1 working day.
  7. Short registration forms
You won't have to enter more than 4 items of information (although there may be more than one instance of each, e.g. several agency numbers count as 1 item).
  8. No delays from setting up passwords
If the process also creates a username and password for you, this won't delay access via Unipass to your clients' data.
  9. Clear messages
User messages will be clear and informative (e.g. "Your Unipass has been revoked", not "There's a problem with your Unipass").
  10. Automatically log-in or prompt to register as appropriate
If you try to register a Unipass that's already registered. you'll simply be logged in.
If you try to log in without registering, the website won't give you an error message but will take you to the registration page instead.
